Built from sweat, dedication, and a whole lot of iron.

Look, I'm not gonna feed you some polished corporate story about "discovering our passion." The truth? I got tired of seeing people waste their time on machines that don't actually make 'em stronger. Tired of watching folks bounce from one trendy workout to another without real results.

Started coaching out of a garage in 2015. Just me, some bumper plates, and a pull-up bar. Word spread fast when people actually started hitting their goals - getting stronger, moving better, performing like actual athletes instead of just looking the part.

We opened Draventhward in 2018 because we needed space for everyone who wanted in. Named it something that sounds like a battle cry because that's what training should feel like - a challenge you conquer, not some casual hobby.

2015

Started coaching functional training in a garage gym. Five clients, zero frills.

2017

Client base grew to 40+. Realized we needed proper space and equipment.

2018

Opened Draventhward Fitness on Granville Street. 5,000 sq ft of pure training heaven.

2021

Expanded coaching team to six certified trainers. Added Olympic lifting platforms.

2023

Launched athletic performance program. Started working with pro athletes and college teams.

2025

500+ members strong. Building the toughest, most capable athletes in Vancouver.

We don't do gimmicks. We don't chase trends. We focus on what works - compound movements, progressive overload, proper recovery, and nutrition that actually supports your goals. It's simple but it ain't easy, and that's exactly the point.

Every coach here has walked the walk. We've lifted the weights, ran the sprints, and put in the work ourselves. We know what it takes because we've done it, and we're gonna push you to do the same.
